Furniture only!
The owners of this beautiful Victorian house in South West London have relocated to Australia for a couple of years and rented out their property. All was well until the tenants moved out last October and due to the current property market (the Lettings market in SW London has been flooded with similar sized family properties) they had trouble attracting suitable new tenants.
The Agent suggested offering the property as a shared let but only if furnished! We were recommended for the job, being so far away and in different time zones the project was arranged by email only… Once a budget was agreed and furniture styles approved, everything was arranged very quickly in order to secure a fast Let. In fact, installation took place less than a week after the scheme was agreed. Fortunately, the simple furnishings were a success and four lucky tenants are now happily ensconced in Balham!
