Top Floor Refurbishment - Bath
The owners of this traditional mews cottage really liked the idea of creating a luxurious wet room. However, their existing bathroom was on the top floor of a 3 storey house and not ideally positioned for a wet room! After much discussion with builders and trades we all decided that a compromise would be the best solution. Plans were drawn up and the whole of the top floor of the house was re-designed to accommodate a separate shower (the room had sloping ceilings which presented height difficulties in certain areas of the room), luxury bath, toilet and vanity unit.
The clients had very definite ideas about the fittings they wanted to use and the sort of look they were after, but had no idea where to start. We helped to make their ideas a reality and provided a personal sourcing service as well as the redesign, even changing the wooden window sill for granite to tie in with the vanity top and the glass in the window for a subtle frosted look with a twist!
The finished result was a fantastic useable room, very contemporary with lots of superb finishing touches and extremely delighted clients.
