Our clients asked us to help furnish this property as it had been on the market for a few weeks with little interest. They didn’t mind selling or letting the property they just wanted an agreement on it and money in the bank! A spacious, modern family home, several things were preventing buyers from rushing to view.
Firstly, the house was completely empty of furniture and lacked buyer appeal. Secondly, the property was next to a new development of luxury houses and not only were the developers offering all sorts of incentives to prospective purchasers but they had a fantastic show home to look around and fall in love with!
For such a large house we had a tight budget to work with and decided to stage most of rooms downstairs to gain maximum impact and upstairs just the main bedroom and bedroom 3 . Our clients decided to rent all the furniture and accessories from us and we styled the property to give it the necessary ‘show home appeal.’ Happily after a few weeks a rental contract with a view to buy was agreed.
